Rokach 73, the elegant bistro of Chef Eyal Lavi, offers a Provencal bistro cuisine with powerful flavours – colourful and meticulously thought-out. On entering the attractive space that's decorated in earth tones and olive green, our guests can choose from a variety of seating options: at the bar, on the padded chairs, by the large windows with view of the tennis courts or on the gorgeous inner terrace, and absorb the warmth, serenity and the sense of home.
At Rokach 73, Chef Eyal Lavie's menu features delicious food that's perfectly accessible and creative. Lavie's professionalism in working with fish, seafood and meat is reflected in the delightful range of dishes that present the best of Mediterranean and Provencal cuisines.
Start your meal with the steak tartare made of aged veal sirloin, with a classic tartar sauce; fresh blue mussels with a Roquefort cream sauce; or the rich shrimp bisque, intensified with cream and brandy. Another winning option is the bouillabaisse, a concentrated, hearty soup of fish and seafood, seasoned with Pastis, olive oil and saffron and starring blue crabs, shrimps, mussels, calamari and fish chunks, served with a rouille garnish and toast. Try the sea bream baked in yoghurt, za'atar (hyssop), pine-nuts and sumac; or choose a 400 gram marbled entrecote steak, properly aged, from prime locally reared beef. In the dessert section, Rokach 73 proposes a selection of classic dishes prepared by our pastry chef – the rich tiramisù with mascarpone cheese and sponge fingers suffused with espresso and orange liqueur, or affogato – premium cherry ice-cream topped with a shot of bittersweet espresso.
Our wine list pays homage to the excellent wine produced by Israel's boutique wineries, that have flourished in the past few years. We offer over 60 different types of bottles from boutique wineries at highly accessible prices, to encourage Israeli wine-culture and to render the combination of wine with dining a complete leisure experience.
